John started playing music at the age of 17 to mourn his late father, a blues guitarist of 30 years. At the age of 22 John joined the Air Force. A few years later, he was picked up to perform with The Air Force Tops in Blue, a worldwide musical showcase, where he led a 10-piece band and played for troops in 33 different countries. He later went back to school with the Berklee College of Music and earned a Professional Bassist Certificate.
John also released his own smooth jazz album and can be found online under the artist name 'JDVtheBassist'. He plays regularly with his local church and enjoys playing covers to entertain a crowd, making him a great fit for 3 Day Weekend.

Jordan Wood
Vocals, Drums, Percussion
Jordan began a life-long love of music and performing at the age of four by singing and shaking a tambourine to the recordings of the Oak Ridge Boys and Huey Lewis and the News to crowds as large as his immediate family. That passion (and the audience sizes) grew as he earned a degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
Jordan's spent the last twenty years performing with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, in addition to other orchestras and bands along the Gulf Coast. These have provided the opportunity to play with a variety of noteworthy musicians from Broadway and Hollywood.
Michael Bannon
Vocals, Guitar
Michael has been playing guitar since guitars were invented. He confesses to being a guitar head, having one of his several stringed wonders slung over his shoulder most evenings. Determined not to be pigeonholed as a one-style player, he has formal training in classical music and in jazz. His training in classic rock was in the school of experience. He regards music as a gift of God.
